As my chosen career path, I teach & research with undergraduates at Southwestern University. I started teaching with chocolate in 2005. This small curiosity sparked a professional interest & hobby in chocolate. At every opportunity, I spend my leisure and travel time studying and interacting with the world of fine chocolate. I consider "to chocolate" a verb.

I designed this  website as a gateway into the aspects of my academic life from chocolate education to teaching biology and researching the ecology, diversity and distribution of apple snails. Yet, any website of mine wouldn't be complete without family highlights so I picked a few of my favorite pictures of my Bichons: Twinkie & Cupcake.
